Hi everyone,
I am writing this to report a technical issue regarding the "Betting Limit" (Responsible Gambling tools) on BC.Game and to seek clarification on a refund.
I explicitly set a daily wagering limit of €25 on my account to manage my gameplay responsibly. After wagering about €23, I managed to win €45. However, to my surprise, the system allowed me to continue betting and even place wagers exceeding €50 in total.
Essentially, the system failed to enforce the active limit I had set for my own protection. Because the technical safeguard did not work as intended, I ended up losing funds that should have been locked by the limit.
I believe that if a player takes the step to set responsible gambling limits, the platform must ensure they are technically functional. Since this appears to be a system failure:
Has anyone else experienced limits not triggering correctly?
Is it possible to get a refund for the amount wagered beyond the set limit?
I have screenshots of my limit settings and the betting history to prove that the threshold was bypassed. I would appreciate it if a staff member could look into this.
"Thank you for the explanation regarding the 15-minute activation period. However, this does not apply to my case.
The wagering limit in question was activated several days ago. It was not a newly set limit. Therefore, the 'activation delay' is irrelevant.
The facts remain:
An active wagering limit of €25 was set days in advance.
The system failed to stop my wagering once the limit was reached.
I was able to wager significantly more than my limit allowed, resulting in a loss that should have been prevented by your system.
Since this is a clear malfunction of your Responsible Gambling tools, your 'strict protocols' and 'monitoring' obviously failed in this instance. As a licensed operator, you have a duty of care to ensure that these tools work.
I request a full investigation into why a long-standing limit was ignored by your software and ask for a refund of the wagers placed in excess of my €25 limit. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the licensing authority and relevant gambling forums if this technical error is not addressed fairly."
